ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association, brings together destinations, venues and meeting professionals from across the world to share knowledge, build international connections and develop the global meetings industry.

Bella Center Copenhagen has been part of that community for 50 years.

Much has changed since 1976. The meetings industry has evolved, Copenhagen has become an internationally recognized destination for congresses and events, and Bella Center has transformed along the way.

But one ambition has remained constant: Connecting Copenhagen with the world.

A relationship that keeps evolving

Today, international congresses remain an important part of Bella Center, but the events taking place under our roof have become increasingly diverse, spanning corporate events, product launches, entertainment, gaming, festivals and international sport.

Our role has evolved too. Hosting an international event is no longer simply about providing the right number of square meters. It is about understanding what organizers want to achieve and connecting venue, expertise, hospitality and destination to make it happen.

That includes our long-standing collaboration with Wonderful Copenhagen, Copenhagen Convention Bureau and other partners, connecting the possibilities inside Bella Center with everything Copenhagen has to offer.

50 years behind us. And plenty ahead.

The anniversary is as much about looking forward as looking back. Our ICCA membership continues to give us opportunities to learn, share experiences and contribute to the development of the global meetings industry.

Because events and expectations may change, but the value of bringing people together, exchanging ideas and creating new connections remains.

We look forward to continuing that work with ICCA and the international meetings community for many years to come.
